Options

In addition to the standard key features of our products we offer a range of options.

 

Optional features for unity vision periscopes include:

  • a choice of colour and paint finish for the housings

  • a choice of glass or acrylic prisms
  • aluminium alloy, DMC or plastic injection moulded housings
  • heated components to de-mist and/or de-ice
  • black-out blinds to prevent the egress of light from within the vehicle
  • laser protection filters (for example, for threats such as ISK167(KG3)(Yag) and/or (Ruby)) with the filter cassettes capable of being upgraded over time to respond to changes in threat, and
  • for designs that are fitted from the outside of the vehicle, the option of a spare 'get me home' periscope capable of being fitted from the inside of the vehicle.

Optional features offered in respect of the Sabre vehicle sight include:

  • a choice of colour and paint finish for the housings
  • laser protection filters (for example, for threats such as ISK167(KG3)(Yag) and/or (Ruby) with the filter cassettes capable of being upgraded over time to respond to changes in threat
  • an image intensified night vision channel
  • a magnified vision channel
  • eyepiece position
  • heated window components to de-mist and/or de-ice
  • linkage to the vehicle gun, and
  • modification to the sight housings to alter its height, width and means of fitting to the vehicle.
