T Series periscopes

A range of unity vision periscopes each developed as an entirely new design, or as a modification to an existing design, in order to meet a specific set of requirements.

Taking into account space envelope constraints, interface definition , fields of view, user positioning - all of which can vary from vehicle to vehicle - Kent Periscopes can analyse and validate the opportunities and constraints to design and deliver an optimised periscope solution for the vehicle in question.

By way of example, the T1 and T2 periscopes were designed specifically to provide enhanced visibility for vehicle drivers as part of a new driver's hatch requirement. Kent Periscopes worked very quickly with the customer to measure the vehicle hatch dimensions, assess the combined field of view required and then design and build the optimised solution within 10 weeks.

All periscopes in the T Series benefit from modern materials and manufacturing techniques, offer ballistic protection for the user and provide for the option of upgradable laser protection filters.

Kent Periscopes has earned a strong reputation for its ability to deliver a range of good quality products at competitive prices. We supply unity vision glass periscopes and unity vision acrylic periscopes for armoured fighting vehicles, including tanks, APCs and IFVs. We design and manufacture new unity vision periscopes, commander's and gunner's sights and related equipment to a well established industry build standard, including a ballistic air gap. In addition, we offer a range of optional features including black-out blinds, glass or acrylic prisms, aluminium alloy DMC or plastic injection moulded housing, upgradable laser protection filters for single or multi-line protection, heated windows and wash-wipe solutions. We also provide repair and refurbishment services for in-service parts that may no longer be serviceable by the original equipment manufacturer.
