The UK Minister for Defence Procurement Harriett Baldwin M.P. recently visited Kent Periscopes. Accompanied by local M.P. James Davies she was impressed by Kent’s performance in export markets and was particularly interested in seeing progress on the two major U.K. vehicle programmes - Ajax and Warrior. “It’s great that the Minister is able to visit our new facility and see first-hand our new facilities which will help us create the most modern armoured vehicle crew vision systems assembly facility in Europe”, said Grahame Crook, Director of U.K. Programmes. “We have expanded our capability and capacity as a result of major long term business predicted and secured for UK MOD and other overseas programmes.
